Few training programs provide the ability to engage students, display interactive graphic representations of hazards, and use state-of-the-art technology to provide simultaneous instruction in multiple languages, including Spanish. The 2009 edition of “Roadway Safety” provides that and much more. The just released edition contains new modules on Disaster Response, Set-up of Temporary Traffic Control, and greatly expanded sections on Night Work and Runovers—AND THE PROGRAM IS FREE TO ALL SESSION ATTENDEES. The labor/management partnership of ARTBA, NAPA, the Laborers and Operating Engineers will demonstrate the latest version of the award winning “Roadway Safety” training program for workers involved in roadway construction. The Roadway Safety program has been expanded to include 22 topics and provides comprehensive training for everyone involved in roadway construction.
