Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are among the most common type of injury in the construction industry. This study investigates the weights of common construction materials and related physical workloads in the construction field. This session will demonstrate popular ergonomic risk assessment tools for the prevention of MSD injuries. Attendees will take away how to effectively minimize exposures to the trade-specific ergonomics risk factors at the construction jobsite.
