The OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety and Health course is designed to provide entry level construction workers with overview information regarding OSHA, including workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint. It also provides an overview of hazards a worker may encounter on a job site. OSHA 10 Hr is a 'Hazards' course, with training emphasizing hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, rather than OSHA standards.
This course is taught by OSHA-authorized instructors.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- State work rights
- Identify common worksite hazards
- Contact OSHA to file a complaint
This course is offered in both English and Spanish.
