FREE Silica Hazard Awareness classes coming to a classroom near you!

The Chicagoland Construction Safety Council (CCSC) was recently awarded an OSHA grant to develop and deliver a four hour Silica Hazards and Controls safety course.  This program is geared for employers and workers who encounter respirable crystalline silica in the construction industry.

Educating workers on the hazards of working near respirable crystalline silica is especially important following release of the new national standard related to silica exposure in the workplace. A combination of classroom-based instruction and hands-on demonstrations will reinforce learning objectives so that they become
part of the daily routine for employers and workers alike.

Open enrollment training sessions are scheduled starting December 20, 2018 and will continue bi-monthly through September 2019. As always, we also offer private training sessions to meet your individual needs both at the CCSC training center in Hillside, Illinois, or at your work location(s).

This FREE Silica Hazards class will initially be available in English, with a Spanish language version released shortly thereafter.

To register for an open enrollment session, click here and search for the category 'Free'.
