Excavation Hazard Awareness Computer-Based Training (CBT) is a FREE, grant-funded CBT course designed to educate workers about the hazards associated with trenching and excavation work. Participants will be able to identify potential hazards and what steps can be taken to avoid unsafe conditions when working in and near an excavation site.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify common excavation hazards
- State steps to avoid unsafe conditions
Target Audience: Any worker who works in, around, or near an excavation site, performs safety and health evaluations or training, and those who supervise excavation worksites.
Course Length: 4 Hours
This course is self-paced and may be completed in one sitting, or over a number of days. Your progress is automatically saved at the end of each module you complete. The entire program should take approximately 4 hours to complete
