The full IPAF Operator course includes both a Theory (classroom or online) instruction and a hands-on Practical experience. This product is the ONLINE THEORY instruction only.
The in-person Practial experience course must be taken within 45 days of completing the online theory course in order to receive your IPAF Operators PAL card.
Upon successful completion, student will receive an IPAF Theory Preliminary Test Completion Receipt which must be presented for admittance to their in-person Practical instructor.
Once logged in, students have 90 days to complete the course.

Course Description
Powered access is the safest way to carry out temporary work at height. Powered access refers to equipment that is designed to lift personnel, tools and materials to work safely at height. One of the most common types of powered access equipment is a Mobile Elevating Work Platforms or MEWPs. MEWPs are sometimes referred to as aerial work platforms, cherry pickers, scissor lifts, booms, mast lifts etc and are categorised by type.
IPAF training can only be conducted from an IPAF-approved training center. Construction Safety Council is an IPAF-approved training center.
Those who successfully complete both the Online Theory and the In-Person Practical, receive a PAL Card (Powered Access Licence) which is accepted around the world as proof of safety and competency when operating the relevant powered access equipment.
This course is compliant with the June 2020 ANSI A92 Standard.
Target Audience: Anyone expected to operate a mobile elevated work platform.
