OSHA #3115 - Fall Protection

The OSHA #3115 course provides an overview of state-of-the-art technology for fall protection and current OSHA requirements. Topics covered include the principles of fall protection, the components of fall arrest systems, the limitations of fall arrest equipment, and OSHA policies regarding fall protection. Course features a one-day field exercise demonstrating fall protection equipment.

Note: This course was previously known as OSHA #3110.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to: 

  • Identify types of fall protection and their components
  • Recognize fall hazards and identify abatement methods
  • Define the proper use of fall protection equipment and personal fall arrest systems

Target Audience:  Any worker acting as the Competent Person on the jobsite, those performing safety and health evaluations or training, site supervisors, owners, those responsible for worker safety and those interested in learning more about fall protection.
