New for 2022 – the Chicagoland Construction Safety Council offers a free half-day course designed to reach people at highest risk for injury and death from construction falls. The Construction Safety Council is committed to preventing injury and death due to neglect or improper use of equipment and fall protection systems, improperly secured work areas, lack of proper supervision, and other hazards.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to: 

  • Identify common fall hazards
  • State at least three methods to avoid falls
  • Properly use and maintain fall protection equipment
  • Understand their rights and responsibilities to maintain a work environment with adequate fall protection
