The Confined Space Entry hazard training course is designed to educate workers about the hazards and increased risks associated with entering, working in, and/or exiting from a confined work space. Participants will learn OSHA standards, definitions, requirements, permit considerations, entry, and rescue/emergency services.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify confined space work hazards
- Identify OSHA standards
- State confined space entry permit considerations
- List rescue measures
- Demonstrate use of air monitoring equipment, control methods and PPE
Target Audience: Any worker who will be working in or around confined spaces, any Supervisor who will be assigned to confined space jobsites, those individuals who need to become familiar with OSHA Confined Space Entry Requirements.
