Our Introduction to Blueprint Reading class provides students with the foundational skills needed to understand and interpret construction drawings used across the industry. The course covers common symbols, scales, notes, and abbreviations found on blueprints, as well as how to read architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical drawings. Participants learn how different views—such as plans, elevations, and sections—work together to convey design intent and construction requirements. By the end of the class, students gain the confidence to accurately read blueprints, identify key details, and communicate effectively with project teams on the jobsite.
